Saints drop heartbreaker to J.H. Rose in ECC baseball

GREENVILLE -- Jacob Hollingsworth collected three RBI during Southern Wayne's 6-5 loss to J.H. Rose in an Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference game contested at historic Guy Smith Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
Josh Jernigan and Dallas Graham (two RBI) led the Saints' offense with two hits apiece. Kevin Williams endured the pitching loss in 6 2/3 innings of work on the mound.
The Saints conclude regular-season play Thursday at county rival C.B. Aycock.
