Montague drives in 4 runs during Hawks' road win

Allison Montague had two hits, including a triple and four RBI, as North Lenoir toppled Eastern Carolina 2-A opponent Goldsboro, 18-0, on Tuesday evening.
Janna Moore and Nicole Robinson each three hits for the Hawks. Blythe Greene and Megan Lanier contributed two hits apiece.
Moore got the win in the circle with eight strikeouts, two walks and surrendered one hit.
Shakiela Dawson had the lone hit for Goldsboro. Allura Peterson took the pitching loss.
Goldsboro (0-11 overall, 0-8 ECC) travels to Greene Central today for a doubleheader to finish the regular season. North Lenoir (11-3 overall) entertains Ayden-Grifton on Thursday.
