Hawks defeat Cougars in OT on soccer pitch

North Lenoir notched a pair of overtime goals and handed Goldsboro a 4-2 defeat in their Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference game Tuesday evening.
Angelina Nacca notched a first-half goal off of Juanita Cortes-Torres' assist in the first half. Cortes-Torres' corner kick produced the Cougars' second goal of the game.
Goldsboro attempted 15 shots on the night.
Cougar goalie Courtney Sutton, a freshman, recorded 12 saves.
Goldsboro (2-9-0 overall, 2-3-0 ECC) concludes regular-season play at home tonight against Kinston.
