Bailey's lone goal lifts WCDS past long-time nemesis

WILSON -- Allison Bailey struck from 25 yards out on a free kick for the lone goal in Wayne Country Day's 1-0 triumph over Coastal Plains Independent 1-A/2-A nemesis Greenfield on Tuesday evening.
Margaret Tanner drew the foul that led to the free kick.
Bailee Creger recorded her 11th shutout of the season in goal for the Chargers.
WCDS (8-3-2 overall) awaits a bid to the NCISAA playoffs, which begin either Friday or Saturday.
