Cougars win ECC 2A golf meet

KINSTON -- Carlin Thomas and Matt Hall finished second and third, respectively, in individual play and helped Goldsboro shoot a season-low 326 during an Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference match at Falling Creek.
South Lenoir fired a 360, followed by Greene Central at 380.
The teams conclude regular-season play next Monday at Goldsboro Municipal Golf Course.
