West, Joyner, Rouse provide offensive firepower for CBA

Charles B. Aycock extended its win streak to five games with a 9-4, non-conference conquest of Greene Central on Thursday evening.
Noah West had a double and a two-RBI home run to lead the Golden Falcons' offense. Garrett Joyner also had a two-run homer. Ben Rouse had three hits and two RBI.
Lloyd Lowe had a double. Bobby Hampton had two hits and an RBI to round out the offense.
Rouse got the win on the mound, surrendering two earned runs and striking out four in four innings. Trent Herndon and Kyle Davis pitched in relief.
Kevin Ormond had three hits and Chandler Barrow added a two-run home run of his own for Greene Central. Ormond endured the loss for the Rams.
Aycock (10-6 overall) entertains unbeaten J.H. Rose today, while Greene Central (3-11) plays host to Goldsboro on Tuesday.
