Bears shut out Golden Falcons

NEW BERN -- Sarina Lancaster's 15 saves in goal weren't enough as Charles B. Aycock fell 1-0 to New Bern in Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A action Thursday evening.
New Bern tucked away the lone goal midway through the second half.
The Golden Falcons struggled to get chances going forward but varying combinations of nine players filling the four back-line spots defended admirably to give C.B. Aycock a chance.
The Golden Falcons (6-5-1 overall, 1-5-1 ECC) entertain Southern Wayne on Tuesday.
