Blue Devils hand Hawks first softball loss of 2014

South Lenoir pounded out 10 hits and claimed an 11-1, mercy-rule victory over county archrival North Lenoir on the Eastern Carolina 2-A Conference scene.
Blythe Greene, Nicole Robinson and Kelsie Stocks each had one hit for the Hawks. Robinson took the pitching loss.
North Lenoir (8-1 overall, 2-1 ECC) plays Goldsboro today.
