Cougars drop ECC 2A baseball game to Ayden-Grifton

Goldsboro fell to Eastern Carolina 2-A opponent Ayden-Grifton 20-0 Thursday evening.

Cayce Herring had the only two hits for the Cougars.

Jared Howard, Miguel Lugo and Herring all pitched for Goldsboro. Herring took the pitching loss.

Goldsboro (1-10 overall, 0-3 ECC) travels to North Lenoir today.
