Mercer delivers 3 doubles, 3 RBI in Rosewood's road win

Rosewood's offense cranked out 11 hits during a 6-5, non-conference triumph over Wilson Fike on Wednesday afternoon.
Hayley Mercer went 3-for-3 at the plate with three doubles and three RBI. Alicia Burns also added three hits with two RBI. Callie Thornton added two hits and freshman Carrie Ann Beckert drove in two runs.
Hailey Weeks, another freshman, got the pitching win inside the circle. Thornton earned the save.
Rosewood (5-1 overall) travels to Princeton for Carolina 1-A action on Friday.
