Chargers blank Lawrence Academy on tennis courts

Wayne Country Day dominated the top four singles courts and cruised past Lawrence Academy, 9-0, on Thursday afternoon.
The Chargers' top four singles seeds combine to lose just three of 51 games. Michael Knutson, Sam Dively and Miller Gerrard each posted a straight-set shutout. Teammates Preston Edwards, Hunter Hawkins and Nolan Davis each picked up a singles point.
Knutson-Gerrard, Dively-P. Edwards and Hawkins-Davis completed the sweep in doubles.
The Chargers (4-1 overall) play host to Greenfield next Tuesday.
