• ROCKY MOUNT -- Rocky Mount claimed four out of six singles matches and defeated Charles B. Aycock 6-3 on Thursday afternoon.
Ashton Walker and Katie Gurley each collected a singles win for the Golden Falcons. The doubles team of Casie Belom-Cassidy Coerber was also victorious.
Aycock (2-1 overall) begins defense of its Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference championship Tuesday at Triton.
