Casey Bloome scored once in each half and Hickory Christian blanked Wayne Country Day 2-0 on Friday afternoon.
"Playing two games in consecutive games wore on the players, but they gave a strong second-half performance, but couldn't create enough scoring opportunities," WCDS head coach Steve Ellis said.
The Chargers (0-2-1 overall) entertain Ridgecroft next Friday.
