Hill throws complete-game, five-hitter for Rebels

CALYPSO -- Left-handed pitcher Ansley Hill scattered five hits in a complete-game effort, and North Duplin doubled up Ayden-Grifton, 4-2, in Carolina 1-A Conference action Friday evening.
Hill and Skylar McCarty paced the Rebels' offense with two hits apiece.
Casey Thornton and Kailey Odom each contributed one hit.
The Chargers scored the game's initial run during their first at-bat. The Rebels answered with runs in the third, fourth and sixth innings.
North Duplin (4-5 overall, 2-1 CC) is the guest of Rosewood on Tuesday.
