Mozingo tosses gem as Eastern Wayne gets key road win

• ERWIN -- Zach Mozingo recorded 11 strikeouts in a complete-game effort, and Eastern Wayne shut out Triton, 1-0, in Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference action Friday evening.
"We played extremely well and they pitched it good," said Warriors head coach Jabo Fulghum. "It was a tight ballgame that we were fortunate to win."
Eastern Wayne managed four hits and scored the game-winning run in the first inning.
The Warriors (8-3 overall, 4-1 ECC) play host to North Lenoir on Tuesday.
