• FOUR OAKS -- Charles B. Aycock's Cade Ivey claimed the 800-meter run and ran the opening leg on two winning relay teams during a four-team, Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference meet contested at South Johnston.
The Golden Falcons finished third in the team chase with 35 points.
Ivey along with Alex Rogers, Dillon Bernel and Khaleil Owens emerged victorious in the 1,600-meter relay. Ivey, Rogers, Bernel and Cody Garris combined for a first-place effort in the 3,200 relay.
Owens took the 400-meter run, while Rogers was second.
Bernel placed second in the 800.
