Trojans' trip to Banner Elk postponed

BANNER ELK -- Mount Olive's basketball doubleheader against Conference Carolinas in-state rival Lees-McRae was postponed Saturday due to inclement weather.
The Trojan men (6-5 overall, 1-2 CC) face the Bobcats today at 2 p.m. The women's game has been rescheduled for Jan. 30 at 2 p.m., one day after the Trojans play a nationally-televised game at league member Limestone (S.C.) College. CBS College Sports will air the contest.
Mount Olive visits another in-state league foe -- St. Andrews Presbyterian College on Thursday. The women tip off at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men's game.
The Trojans begin a stretch of four consecutive home games Jan. 15 against Coker (S.C.) College. The women play at 2 p.m. with the men's contest slated for a 4 p.m. start.
