Reed, Montgomery, James earn All-State honors from NCpreps.com

Shrine Bowl participants Andre Montgomery and Jarrod James, and Goldsboro High senior Jarran Reed have been selected to the NCpreps.com All-State football teams for their respective classifications.
Montgomery and Reed were named to the 1-A squad. The duo helped the Cougars repeat as the Carolina 1-A Conference champions, and advance to the eastern semifinals in the N.C. High School Athletic Association 1-AA (large school) playoffs.
Goldsboro recorded its third straight 10-win season.
James, a senior at Charles B. Aycock, was named to the 3-A team. The North Carolina signee also participated in the O-D All-American game in Myrtle Beach, S.C., on New Year's Eve.
All three earned first-team recognition on the 2010 News-Argus All-Area Football Team.
