Edna Earl "Soot" Davis, 84, 610 S. Center St., died Sunday at home.
Funeral will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Payne Temple African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, with the Rev. Sylvester Smith, officiating. Burial will be in Carver Cemetery.
She was born in Wayne County to the late Will Leonard and Johnnie Dell McCullen Leonard.
She is survived by eight children.
Visitation will be Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel.
