Anthony Wayne Howell, 70, Goldsboro, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Wayne was born Aug. 3, 1947, in Wayne County to the late Orin Elroy Howell and Ethel Herring Howell.
He was a retired truck driver.
Graveside service will be Saturday, Aug. 4, at 2 p.m. in Howell Family Cemetery, on Patetown Road (across from Free Chapel Church). The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Carol Speight Howell; step-children, Charlene McDaniel and Vernon Christopher McDaniel; five step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
