Franklin Renaldo Brewington, 50, departed this walk of life Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Memorial service to celebrate his life will be Friday, August 03, at 11 a.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mr. Brewington was born Feb. 28, 1968, in Virginia to the late William Franklin and Dorethea Fields Brewington.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy, a graduate of Mount Olive College and a member of First Congregational Church in Dudley.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Amanda Williams Brewington; two sons, Jamel Slater and wife, Hollie, of Hawaii and Stephen Ray Smith and wife, Rita, of Goldsboro; one daughter, Frankie Danielle Brewington, of Goldsboro; two brothers, William Gregory “Greg” Brewington and wife, Madeline, of Virginia and Billy Donnell Brewington, of Goldsboro; two grandchildren, Anthony and William Slater; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory.
