Catherine Braswell, 71, 3838 E. Ash St., died Saturday at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at First African Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Louis Leigh officiating.
She was born Sept. 16, 1946, in Wayne County to the late Vernice Wooten.
She is survived by three children.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 7 p.m. at Haskins Funeral Home, with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m.
The family will receive friends at 1302 Franklin Ct., where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
