Kenneth Rabon Deans, 81, died Thursday at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Graveside service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
He was born in Johnston County Nov. 17, 1936, to the late Delma and Elvorena Hatcher Deans.
He is survived by two daughters.
Visitation will be 6 to 7:30 tonight at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory.
