Edward Vaughn, 64, 235 Johnson Lane, died Saturday in Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Friday at 10 a.m. in James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home. Burial will be in Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 21, 1954, in Wayne County to Edward and Annie Armstrong Vaughn.
He is survived by a son.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m. The family will receive friends at the home, where it will assemble for the funeral procession.
