KENNETH EARL FOREHAND

Kenneth Earl Forehand, 71, Pikeville, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018, at his home.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, June 6, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Patetown Church of God.
A graveside service with military honors will be held Thursday, June 7, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro.
Mr. Forehand was born in Wayne County Sept. 3, 1946, to the late Frank C. Forehand and Dollie Ray Mooring Forehand.
He was retired from the National Guard, and was a member of the American Legion in Fremont.
He is survived by a daughter, Miranda Bennett and husband, Chad, of Goldsboro; a brother, Randy “Pete” Forehand and wife, Celeste, of Pikeville; a sister, Connie F. Wiggins and husband, the Ree. Marvin Wiggins, of Patetown; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Forehand was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann Forehand; his son, James Forehand; and a stepdaughter, Desiree Fellows.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
