GERALD LAWRENCE "JERRY" DALE

Mr. Gerald Lawrence "Jerry" Dale, 70, Conway, S.C., passed away Monday, April 16, 2018, following a valiant four-year battle with cancer. Jerry left as courageously as he lived; he never lost his smile or sense of humor, and he will be missed by all.
Born in Goldsboro, N.C., Jerry was the son of the late Brice and Janice Chase Dale.
He attended Elon College, and worked in retail advertising and cable television management for many years. Jerry was recently manager of Bolick Johnson Media Group and co-owner of Dale Publishing Inc.
He was past master of Semper Fidelis Lodge No. 680 in Jacksonville, N.C.
Survivors include his wife, Diane Wilson Dale; his sons, Jay Dale (Suzanne), Steve Dale (Melanie Shane) of Asheboro, N.C., and Greg Dale (Christina) of Goldsboro, N.C.; his daughter, Chrissy Hall (Donnell) of Winterville, N.C.; his stepdaughter, Mandy Briggs Paul (Andy) of Louisville, Ky.; his stepson, Josh Briggs (Danna) of Pendleton, S.C.; his grandchildren, Nicholas Dale, Chase Hall, Alisha Hall, Sean Dale, Triston Dale, Grace Dale, Paislee Dale, Fyndlee Dale and Michael Thompson; and his stepgrandchildren, Lizzie Paul, Ben Paul, Henry Paul, Jade Briggs and Sage Briggs.
Private graveside services will be held for the family.
Memorial donations may be made to Conway Medical Center Foundation Diane Dale Endowment, P.O. Box 829, Conway, S.C., 29528. Jerry created this endowment in honor of his wife, a breast cancer survivor.
