Sara Judith Cordeiro, 78, Pikeville, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, Md.
Judy was born in West Virginia April 7, 1940, to the late Sylvester John Feola and Retha Irene Snyder Feola. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Anthony Cordeiro Sr.
Judy was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Parish in Goldsboro. She was devoted to her church, sang in the choir, served with the Ladies Guild and with Society of St. Vincent de Paul and was involved in many activities where she utilized her gifts and abilities to share the love of God.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 20, 2018, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Alex Gonzalez presiding. Interment will be in Pikeville Cemetery.
Judy is survived by her sons, Thomas Edward Cordeiro and wife, Rhonda, Robert Anthony Cordeiro Jr. and wife, Margaret, Paul S. Cordeiro, Jason R. Cordeiro and wife, Tyani, and Stefan Andrew Cordeiro and wife, Jennifer; daughters, Brenda Irene Cordeiro-Rose and husband, Eric, and Jennifer Renae Ulrich and husband, Duane Ulrich Jr.; 19 grandchildren; and was anticipating the birth of her first great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given in her memory to Society of St. Vincent de Paul Society, St. Mary Catholic Church, 1603 Edgerton St., Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
