FRANCES POTTS

Miss Frances Potts passed away Thursday evening, March 29, 2018, at Golden Living Center in Tarboro at the age
of 98.
This Duplin County native and former Mount Olive area resident was the daughter of the late Dewey and Lola Potts and sister of the late Naomi P. Osborne.
Having never married, she devoted her life to caring for others through her work as a registered nurse, many of those years in the surgical department of Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Miss Potts is survived by several cousins, including Dr. Bill Potts, Joseph Wilson, Carolyn Lawrence, Nancy Wilson, and Elizabeth Wilson, and their families.
Her life was remembered in a graveside service Saturday, March 31, at 2 p.m. in Pine Crest Cemetery at Warsaw. Pastor Doug Dexter presided.
