Catherine Hamilton Herring, 68, 1220 S. Andrews Ave., died Friday at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, with Bishop Alton A. Smith officiating. Burial will be at Wayne Memorial Park.
She was born Nov. 22, 1949, in Wayne County to Willie and Annie Herring Hamilton. She was married to elder Melvin Herring.
She is survived by two daughters.
Visitation will be Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
Arrangements are by J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremation.
