Patricia Louetta Cooper, 75, Pikeville, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family.
Patricia was born in Greene County, Pa., July 18, 1942, to the late Charles Lloyd Strope and Pauline Virginia Tharp Strope.
She had retired as a correctional officer with the state of Pennsylvania.
After moving to Pikeville, Patricia joined Mount Carmel United Methodist Church.
A service to celebrate Patricia's life will be held Friday, April 6, 2018, at 2 p.m. in Mount Carmel United Methodist Church.
Patricia is survived by her son, Kevin Huff and wife, Samanatha, of Pikeville; daughter, Rhonda Williams of Waynesburg, Pa.; grandchildren, Baylee Huff, Chrystal Brown, Victoria Williams, Carlee Stevens and Ariel Yeager; and great-granddaughters, Destiny Phillips, Keyerah Phillips, Ariyanna Rhodes and Gracelyn Kidd.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to Mount Carmel United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 10, Pikeville, N.C., 27863, or Community Home Care and Hospice, 2309 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
