Esther Blanche Sutton Whittington, 92, Kinston, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Private graveside service will be Saturaday at Westview Cemetery of Kinston.
Born Feb. 27, 1925, in the Bucklesberry community, she was the daughter of Ruth and Wesley Sutton. She was married to the late James Conn Whittington.
Visitation will be Saturday from 10 to 11 at Rouse Funeral Home of LaGrange.
