LULA C. SMITH

Lula C. Smith, 96, died Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. James Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, with the Rev. Ira Reynolds officiating. Burial will be at Hooks Grove Cemetery.
She was born March 25, 1921, in Wayne County to Frank and Rena Sherrod Reid.
She is survived by her children.
Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 p.m., with the family present 6 to 7, at First Missionary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, Herlene Lewis, 304 W. South St., Fremont, where it will assemble for the funeral procession at 10:15 a.m.
Arrangements are by J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremation.
