NANCY F. HILL

Nancy Fields Hill passed away Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

She was born in Wayne County to the late John and Lois Fields, and was the wife of Curtis Hill.

Mrs. Hill was a member of Providence United Methodist Church, and had served as a cafeteria worker at Southern Wayne High School.

A funeral service will be held Monday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jim Huskins officiating. Committal services will follow in Providence United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends following the committal service.

In addition to her husband, Curtis, she is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Maples and husband, Robert, of Mount Olive; two sons, Gary Hill and wife, Wanda, of Nashville, N.C., and Mark Hill and wife, Mary, of Deep Run, N.C.; three sisters-in-law, Virginia Fields, Margaret Pipkin and Mary Thornton; a brother-in-law, Ray Thornton; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hill was also preceded in death by a brother, J.D. Fields.
