Brunetta Flowers Bradshaw, 78, Faison, passed away at her home early Sunday morning surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her daughter, Genetta B. Goodman and husband, Jerry, of Faison; her sons, Gary Bradshaw and his wife, Ronda, of Faison and Greg Bradshaw of Faison and his significant other, Karan Swinson; a brother, Jim Flowers and his wife, Tammy, of Faison; six grandchildren, Natalie G. Ivey and husband, Ben, Kylie Kornegay and her significant other, Bradley Braswell, Bridgette Smith and her husband, Anthony, Brent Bradshaw and Dallas and Colden Bradshaw; five great-grandchildren, Evan and Tanner Kornegay, Alexa and Tatum Smith and Stihl Bradshaw; a brother-in-law, Ted Tillman; and a sister-in-law, Jane Bradshaw.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Ada Margaret Raynor Flowers; her husband, Gene Bradshaw; a sister, Patty F. Davis; a brother, Robert Flowers; and a granddaughter, Kara Goodman.

Services for Mrs. Brunetta will be held tonight at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jabe Largen officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service and at other times, at the home of Mrs. Brunetta, 299 Bradshaw Crow Road, Faison, N.C.

Burial will be held Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park, Dudley, N.C.

Mrs. Brunetta was a faithful member of Faison United Methodist Church, where she, along with Helen Jackson, operated the church's thrift store. She also was an avid supporter of Relay for Life, and believed very deeply in its cause.
