William Billy "Tommy" Bowden Jr., 51, 451 Cherry Cove Drive, Kernersville, formerly of Wayne County, died Sunday at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.
Funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church Calypso, with apostle Preston Grimes officiating.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late William Billy Sr. and Thelma Whitfield Bowden.
Four children survive.
The family will assemble at the home of Eleanor Tart, 101 Woods Drive, Dudley, Saturday at 9:45 a.m. for the funeral procession.
Arrangements are by Garris Funeral Home.
