Josephine Faison Edwards, 78, formerly of Duplin and Sampson counties, died Oct. 19 at Margaret Tietiz Nursing Center of Jamaica, N.Y.
Funeral will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Holly Grove Disciple Church of Christ of Clinton, with pastor Terrell Powell officiating. Burial will be in Cobbs Cemetery.
Born in Sampson County, she was the daughter of the late Wilbert and Cressul Fryar Faison.
One daughter survives.
Visitation will be 3 to 6 tonight at Garris Funeral Home chapel.
