CHRISTOPHER ASH STALLINGS

Dec. 27, 1988-Sept. 28, 2017

Christopher Ash Stallings, 28, Goldsboro, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, at his home.

Christopher was born in Lenoir County on Dec. 27, 1988, to Donny Stuart Stallings Sr. and Laura Ann Cox. He was working as a correctional officer with the Greene County Correctional Center. Christopher was most happy when out fishing. Whether at the coast, the edge of the river, or on the bank of a pond, the tug of a fish on the fishing line always brought a big smile to Christopher's face. Christopher also enjoyed playing pool, skateboarding, and playing his guitar.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017, from 1 to 2 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3010 Carey Road, Kinston, followed by a service to celebrate Christopher's life at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park in Kinston.

In addition to his parents, Christopher is survived by his wife, Ashley Walker Stallings; children, Michael Hill, Landon Hill, Chase Walker, and Ally Stallings; sisters, Felicia Bowles and husband, Charles, and Shannon Aycock; brothers, Bryson Stallings and wife, Summer, and Frankie Mitchell and wife, Amanda; and his grandmother, Lynda Sanderson.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Donny Stuart Stallings Jr.; and grandparents, Lois and Mercel Stallings and Robert Allen Cox.
