ROBERT S. KENDALL

Robert Stuart Kendall, 61, Goldsboro, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Robert was born in Spokane, Wash., on Aug. 16, 1956, to the late Howard J. Kendall and Ruth Tonkin Kendall. He had been employed with Crossroads. Robert had a wonderful sense of humor and never took himself too seriously. He was a good friend, a great father, a great papa phathead, and had a generous heart.
A service to celebrate Robert's life will be held on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Robert is survived by his fiancée, Marci Rohde of Grantham; daughters, Carolyn Dalton and husband, Chris, of Belmont, Mary Bentley and husband, Israel, of Goldsboro, and Anna Dudley and husband, Bobby, of Grantham; son, Daniel Lee Buck; and eight grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Donna Hill of Grantham and Dianne Kendall of Goldsboro; brothers, Russell Kendall and wife, Louise, of Tucson, Ariz., Richard Kendall and wife, Pam, of Pikeville, Rene Kendall and wife, Susan, of Tennessee, and Roger Kendall and wife, Kim, of Goldsboro; and sisters-in-law, Sharon Kendall of Wendell and Lisa Pate Kendall of Goldsboro.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymund S. Kendall, and Ronald S. Kendall.
