Gaynelle E. Poteat, 90, 1209 S. Porter St., died Saturday at home.
Funeral will be Saturday at noon at Goldsboro-Raleigh Assembly, with the Rev. Shawin Dubois officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Born in Greene County, she was the daughter of the late of William Henry and Idora Swinson Edwards.
Four daughters survive.
Visitation, with the family present, will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Invitation AME Zion Church of Snow Hill.
Arrangements are by Garris Funeral Home.
