Pamela Grey Bowen Pate, 65, died Tuesday evening.
Born in Cumberland County, she was the daughter of Jessie Holmes and the late Hazel Elizabeth Lewis Holmes, and wife of the late Michael William Pate.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will greet friends Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
In addition to her father, Pamela is survived by her daughters, Sabrina Sawkiw and her husband, Scott, and Stephanie Pate; two sons, Steven Pate and Sean Pate and his wife, Jessie; brothers, Ray Holmes, Jessie Holmes and Kim Holmes; sister, Dawn Mason; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
