Barbara Bennett Langston, 53, Four Oaks, passed away Wednesday.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Carol Fay and Evelyn E. Bennett, and was the wife of Gary Millard Langston Sr.
She was a financial aid specialist with Johnston Community College.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Debbie Williford officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends following the service.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a stepson, Gary Millard Langston Jr. and wife, Alice, of Newton Grove; a stepdaughter, Crystal King of Benson; a sister, Lori Ann Mitchell; stepgrandchildren, Craig and Alexis Langston and Austin King; nieces, Michelle Fields and husband, Travis, and Candice Mitchell; and an aunt, Connie Bennett of Grantham.
