Linda Faye Newell, 75, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A time of family and friends gathering will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at the home of her granddaughter, 500 11th Street in Goldsboro.
Mrs. Newell was born in Johnston County Jan. 13, 1942, to the late Harry and Gwendolyn Moody Owen. She was married to the late Charles William Wise and the late Carl Newell.
She is survived by a son and a daughter.
Arrangements are by Howell Funeral Home and Crematory.
