Marshall Lee Hinson, 82, Mount Olive resident, retired welder and metal fabricator with Hargrove Millwright, and son of the late Wiley and Flora Kornegay Hinson, passed away Thursday evening, Aug. 31, at Wayne Hospital.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Sept. 5, at 2 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home, with the Rev. Patrick Mustin officiating, followed by burial in Maplewood Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home during the hour before the service.
Mr. Hinson is survived by his wife, Eva Millard Hinson; sons and daughters-in-law, Marshall Hinson II and Staci Hinson of Mount Olive, Jonathan and Cristy Goodwin of Calypso and Michael and Elizabeth Goodwin of Mount Olive; a brother, Bob Hinson of Goldsboro; and two grandchildren, Destiny L. Hinson and Ethan Carter Goodwin.
