Rebecca Sue Narron "Becky" Murphy, 76, Middlesex, passed peacefully to be with the Lord early Wednesday morning, July 26, 2017, in the SECU Hospice House.
Born Aug. 10, 1940, in Houston, Texas, to the late Sam and Susie Finney Narron, she was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, where she was active in the WMU.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Antioch Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mark Creech and the Rev. Marvin Ownley officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Surviving are her son, John Lowell Murphy of Middlesex; daughter, Susan Murphy Mason and husband, Robin, of Pine Level; brother, Richard "Rooster" Narron and wife, Robin, of Goldsboro; two grandchildren, Jonathan Brook Lewis and wife, Cristin, and Dakota Rane Mason; nephew, Samuel F. Narron and wife, Aaron; niece, Virginia Wilkins and husband, Riley; and great-nieces and nephews, Lillie Scott Narron, Trey Narron and Ellie Belle Wilkins.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.
