RAYONELL BAILEY HINTON ROSE

Rayonell Bailey Hinton Rose, 90, Princeton, passed away Sunday evening, July 23, 2017, at her home.

Mrs. Rose was born May 27, 1927, and was the daughter of the late George Washington and Pearl Smith Bailey.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jimmy" Arthur Rose, and her first husband and the father of her children, Thomas Wyatt Hinton.

Also preceded in death by a brother, Harold Bailey, and sister, Alene Parker.

Mrs. Rayonell was a member of Princeton United Methodist Church for many years.

She was a world traveler, going to many countries.

She enjoyed many cruises. She recently celebrated her 90th birthday with a surprise cruise to the Bahamas with her children, their spouses and other family members.

She enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends and especially baking during the holidays for everyone.

Mrs. Rayonell retired after 30 years of teaching, first in Pine Level and then Princeton School.

She was an avid reader, and the family would like to thank the Book Mobile for going over and beyond furnishing books to her at her home.

She was loved by her family and friends, and will be greatly missed.

The funeral service will be conducted Thursday evening, July 27, at 7 p.m. at Princeton United Methodist Church, with the Rev. David Hutchins officiating.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 27, starting at 5 to 6:45 at Casey Funeral Home.

She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Randy Hinton and wife, Peggy, of Princeton and Malcolm Hinton and wife, Kim, of Princeton; daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene Moore and husband, Ken, of Lugoff, S.C., and Tammy Woodard and husband, Terry, of Princeton; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
