Sheila Dorsey Best, 71, departed this life on July 17, 2017.
Surviving relatives include her husband, David; her son, Jason Kari Mack (Andrea); her daughter, Margaret Mack Smith (Michael); two stepchildren, Staris Powell (Cliff) and David Jr. (Mildrianne); four granddaughters, Kiersten, Brittney, Sidney, and Madison; one grandson Kristian; seven sisters, Barbara Pourier (Vincent), Vivian Thompson (Joseph), Nancy Hayes, Joyce Royster, Joan Strickland (Al), Sharon Dorsey and Deborah Dorsey; two brothers, William L. Dorsey Jr. (Fatima) and Charles Dorsey (Crystal); four brothers-in-law, Morris (Inez) Baldwin, Donald Baldwin, Eric (Shonda) Baldwin, and Monte (Sharon) Thompson; two sisters-in law, Gail Collins and Regina (Alonza) Holloway; and a host of other relatives and cherished friends, including Antoinette Rogers.
The family will receive friends at 125 New Hope Village. An inspirational wake will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at 7 p.m. at Word of Truth Christian Fellowship. A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.
Funeral services will be held in New Jersey at Faith Temple No. 1 OFW Baptist Church at 11 a.m. on Saturday. No flowers please.
