CAROLYN JEAN AYCOCK

Carolyn Jean Aycock, 50, Goldsboro, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.

Carolyn was born in Wayne County on Sept. 20, 1966, to William C. and Jeanette Bass Aycock of Goldsboro.

She attended school in the City of Goldsboro and graduated from Faith Christian Academy. Carolyn loved Victory Free Will Baptist Church and was a dedicated and faithful servant her entire life. She was always willing to help with Vacation Bible School as well as she enjoyed serving as Sunday school secretary. She had a large extended circle of family and friends and they were all very special to her. She will be missed, but greatly remembered.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 21, 2017, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Victory Free Will Baptist Church, followed by a service celebrating Carolyn's life at 2 p.m. in the sanctuary, with the Rev. Mike McAuley and the Rev. Fred Crank officiating. Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn is survived by her aunts and uncles, Betty and J.C. Evans of Goldsboro and Phyllis and Ray Bass of Goldsboro; as well as several cousins she loved very much.
