James "Jim" Edmond McCall, 66, of Four Oaks, died Tuesday, July 18, 2017.
The funeral will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Newton Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jim Baldwin officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the funeral service at Newton Grove Baptist Church.
Mr. McCall served 22 years in the U.S. Air Force. During his time in service, he served in Thailand and Korea. In 1992, Mr. McCall retired from active duty from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.
Surviving are his children, Ruth Anna Evans and husband, Paul J., of Lawrenceville, Ga., Matthew James McCall and wife, Jennifer, of Indianapolis, Ind., Joshua David McCall and wife, Dawn, of Augusta, Ga., and Carrie Elizabeth Sutton and husband, Lance, of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Alexis, Matthew Thomas, Hannah, Olivia, Titus, Layla, and Naomi; mother of his children, Karen Jean McCall; brothers and sisters, Don McCall and wife, Bonnie, Dan McCall and wife, Kathi, Linda Walker and husband, Kerry, Sue Herrick and husband, Gary, John McCall, and Dave McCall and wife, Lori; stepchildren, Dennis Carter and Lewis Carter; and mother of stepchildren, Jeanette McCall.
A funeral and graveside service will be held at a later date in Williamsburg, Pa.
