JOSEPH P. QUINN

Joseph Paul Quinn, 80, Goldsboro, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017, at Brookdale Country Day Road after a courageous battle with cancer.
Joseph was born in Wayne County, N.C., April 6, 1937, to the late Josiah Quinn and Margaret Rivenbark Quinn.
He was retired from Kemp Furniture Co.
The family will receive friends Sunday, July 9, 2017, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service celebrating Joseph's life at 3 p.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Barry House officiating. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive, N.C.
Joseph is survived by his brothers, Louis Quinn of LaGrange and Ralph Quinn of Raleigh, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will like to give a special thanks to Dr. Atkins and his staff for the care and compassion shown to Joseph during his illness.
The family will receive friends at other times at the home of his brother, Louis Quinn.
