JIMMY RAY WOODARD

Jimmy Ray Woodard, 55, Wartrace, Tenn., died as a result of an automobile accident July 7, 2017, near Winston-Salem, N.C.
Surviving are his wife, Tammy Hobbs Woodard; daughter, Hannah Woodard Lewis (Brian) of Wartrace, Tenn.; sons, Christian Woodard of Nashville, Tenn., and Jacob Woodard of Wartrace, Tenn.; three grandsons; sister, Deborah Woodard Overby (Johnny) of Princeton; and brothers, Melvin Leo Woodard Jr. (Joyce) of Nolensville, Tenn., and Joseph William Woodard of Phoenex, Ariz.
He was a native of Wayne County, and was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys Hyman Woodard and Melvin Leo Woodard Sr.
He was a proud Republican and a faithful member of Franklin Road Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
A private graveside service for the family will be held Monday at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
